Wassit supports all key formats in the Moroccan market: Instagram Reels, Stories, photo and carousel posts, organic TikTok, embedded YouTube videos, as well as UGC content delivered as raw files. Each creator publishes their own packages with rates, deadlines, and options (exclusivity, usage rights, subtitles in Darija or French).

Yes. Wassit integrates secure messaging that lets you discuss the brief, deadlines, and propose a personalized rate before confirming the order. Counter-offers are allowed for packs above 3,000 MAD or multi-creator campaigns.

What is the minimum budget to launch a campaign?

Accepted Answer

You can start from 500 MAD with a nano-influencer (under 10k followers) or an emerging creator. For a serious awareness campaign with 3-5 creators and KPI tracking, plan a budget of 8,000 to 25,000 MAD depending on targeted cities and profiles.

How do I set my rates on Wassit?

Accepted Answer

The basic rule in Morocco: about 10 MAD per 1,000 engaged followers for a Story, and 50-100 MAD per 1,000 followers for a Reel or permanent post. Adjust by your niche (fashion, food, tech, parenting), engagement rate, and brief complexity. Wassit displays ranges practiced in your category to guide you.

When am I paid after delivery?

Accepted Answer

Payment is automatically released 72 hours after the brand validates the deliverable, or at the latest 7 days after publication. The transfer arrives on your Moroccan bank account, CashPlus or Wafacash within 24-48 business hours. No follow-up needed: escrow releases your payment automatically.

Question 9

How much does Wassit take from my earnings?

Accepted Answer

Wassit takes a 15% commission on the gross amount of each order. If a brand pays you 5,000 MAD, you receive 4,250 MAD net to your account. No signup fees, no subscription, no hidden fees: we only get paid when you do.

Question 10

Which creators are eligible for Wassit?

Accepted Answer

Any creator residing in Morocco, age 18+, with an active Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube account of at least 1,000 real followers and an engagement rate above 1.5%. We verify audience authenticity (no purchased fake followers) before activating your profile on the marketplace.

Can I refuse a brief or a brand?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. You maintain full editorial control: you can refuse any brief incompatible with your values, editorial line, or audience. No penalty, and the brand is automatically refunded. We even encourage creators to decline non-aligned partnerships to preserve community trust.

Question 12

How do I boost my visibility with brands?

Accepted Answer

Complete your profile 100% with a media kit, examples of past collaborations, and your audience statistics. Add 3-5 clear packages with prices and deadlines. Creators who respond to messages in under 12h are displayed with a 'Responsive' badge and receive on average 3x more proposals.

Question 13

What payment methods are accepted?

Accepted Answer

Brands can pay by Moroccan or international bank card (CMI, Visa, Mastercard), by bank transfer (BMCE, Attijariwafa, BP, CIH), or via local wallets. For creators, outgoing payments are made by bank transfer, CashPlus, or Wafacash according to your saved preference.

Question 14

How does Wassit escrow work?

Accepted Answer

As soon as a brand confirms an order, the total amount is immediately debited and locked in a Wassit escrow account. The creator starts working knowing the funds are already in escrow. Once the deliverable is validated or the legal delay expires, escrow automatically releases funds to the creator, after commission deduction.

What are the payment delays?

Accepted Answer

Quick validation by the brand: release within 72h. No brand response: automatic release on the 7th day after publication. Once released, funds arrive in your bank account or wallet within 24-48 business hours. In case of declared dispute, the delay can extend up to 14 days, the time for mediation.

Question 16

CashPlus, Wafacash, or bank transfer: which to choose?

Accepted Answer

Bank transfer is free and ideal for amounts above 1,000 MAD. CashPlus and Wafacash are perfect for fast cash payments anywhere in Morocco, with branch withdrawal possible within 1h. Wassit covers sending fees for CashPlus and Wafacash up to 5,000 MAD per month.

Question 17

Can I receive my earnings in foreign currency?

Accepted Answer

For now, Wassit pays exclusively in Moroccan dirhams (MAD) to accounts domiciled in Morocco, in compliance with Foreign Exchange Office regulations. International brands can however pay in EUR or USD, conversion is automatic at the daily rate.

Are there hidden fees or a subscription?

Accepted Answer

No. No subscription, no signup fees, no withdrawal fees. The only retention is the 15% commission for creators, integrated at payment time. Brands only pay the displayed order amount, VAT included if applicable.

Question 19

Do I need an ICE to sell on Wassit?

Accepted Answer

If you are an auto-entrepreneur or company (SARL, SAS, SA), yes: the ICE (Common Enterprise Identifier) is mandatory and must appear on each invoice. If you are an individual creator without status, you can start without ICE up to 80,000 MAD of annual income, but we recommend opening an auto-entrepreneur status as soon as you have your first regular contracts.

Question 20

Does Wassit handle VAT (20%)?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you are subject to VAT (turnover above 500,000 MAD for services), Wassit automatically applies 20% VAT on your invoices to brands. If you are an auto-entrepreneur or non-subject individual, no VAT is applied and the legal mention 'VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the Moroccan CGI' appears on your invoices.

Question 21

Is auto-entrepreneur status suitable?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's the most suitable status for the majority of Moroccan creators. You benefit from a flat 1% tax rate on turnover (up to 500,000 MAD/year for services), VAT exemption, and simplified accounting. Registration is done online on ae.gov.ma in less than 30 minutes.

Question 22

Are Wassit invoices DGI-compliant?

Accepted Answer

All invoices generated on Wassit respect the requirements of the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI): issuer and recipient ICE, sequential invoice number, date, detailed designation, HT base, VAT rate and amount, TTC total, and legal mention of tax regime. You can download them as PDF anytime from your dashboard.

Question 23

Does Wassit report my income to the DGI?

Accepted Answer

Wassit does not transmit your income directly to the DGI: declaration remains your responsibility as a provider. However, we provide a complete annual summary (sum of payments, retained commissions, VAT if applicable) downloadable from your dashboard to facilitate your declaration with the DGI or your accountant.

Question 24

Can a foreign brand pay me via Wassit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Brands based outside Morocco can pay in EUR or USD, and you receive the equivalent in MAD on your Moroccan account. Wassit handles exchange aspects in compliance with Foreign Exchange Office regulations. This income is considered service exports and benefits from tax advantages for exporting companies.

Question 25

What happens in case of disagreement on a deliverable?

Accepted Answer

If you're not satisfied with the deliverable, open a dispute from the order within 48h of delivery. Our mediation team contacts both parties within 24 business hours and proposes a solution: revision, additional delivery, partial or full refund. During mediation, funds remain held in escrow.

Question 26

Is my personal data protected (CNDP)?

Accepted Answer

Wassit is registered with the National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP) under a duly filed declaration. Your data is hosted on GDPR-compliant European servers, encrypted at rest and in transit, and never sold to third parties. You can export or delete your data at any time.

Question 27

How do you verify user identity?

Accepted Answer

Every brand and creator goes through KYC verification: ID document (Moroccan CIN or passport), ICE proof for companies, and social media account ownership verification for creators. Verified profiles display a blue badge visible on the marketplace.

Question 28

What if a brand doesn't validate my deliverable?

Accepted Answer

A brand has 7 days after publication to validate or contest the deliverable. Without action on their part, payment is automatically released. If they contest without valid reason, our team arbitrates according to the initial brief and deliverable quality: in 78% of cases, the creator obtains full payment in mediation.

Question 29

Is my banking information secure?

Accepted Answer

Wassit never stores your complete card numbers. Payments transit via CMI (Inter-Bank Monetary Center) and our PCI-DSS level 1 certified partners. Your payout details (RIB, CashPlus, Wafacash) are encrypted with a key specific to your account and accessible only by you.

Question 30

What to do in case of abusive behavior or fraud?

Accepted Answer

Report any abusive behavior immediately via messaging or support@wassit.ma. Our team investigates within 24h and can preventively suspend an account. Proven fraud (fake accounts, engagement purchase, undelivered content) results in permanent exclusion and, if necessary, reporting to competent authorities.
